The Labor Distribution Manager supports the mission of the University by recording, examining, and analyzing labor-related transactions; analyzing and preparing reports; monitoring activity; reviewing transactions for accuracy and conformance with established standards and procedures; serving as an accounting resource; and leading a team of labor distribution accountants who perform similar functions.
A bachelor's degree and five years of work experience are required. A master's degree, a CPA license and eight years of work experience is preferred.

Strong accounting skills and experience, including analytical skills and attention to detail with accuracy
Ability to coordinate with multiple levels within organization
Organize work to meet timetables and deadlines (performance under pressure)
Work independently with minimal supervision
Coordinate a variety of activities
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Effective communication skills, oral and written, using correct English grammar, spelling and punctuation
Ability to interact in difficult situations requiring tact and diplomacy with a diverse population
Non-profit, university or college experience
A hybrid work arrangement will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
Lead a team of labor distribution accountants, providing guidance and coordination of activities and feedback on performance
Maintain updated knowledge of GAAP, University policies, procedures, and financial requirements
Coordinate with an assigned client group to ensure accurate recording of labor costing, in a proactive manner
Interface successfully with these departments in an advisory capacity, providing guidance and assistance in proper allocation of labor costs, taking into account job function, level of effort, and funding sources
Establish and maintain processes or collecting labor distribution changes from client groups
Advise Business Officers and Financial Managers regarding prospective costing changes and retroactive changes, when necessar
Process, record, and analyze labor distribution transactions into Oracle Fusion
Schedule and execute Oracle Fusion labor distribution processes
Analyze results of labor distribution processes to identify errors or inaccuracies and resolve as needed
Ensure that appropriate validation processes are followed by the labor distribution team
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
